These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your booking and participation in any trek, tour, or travel package offered by The Trek O Mania Adventures (“Trekomania Adventures”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a trip with us – whether through our website, WhatsApp, or in person – you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the applicable advance payment as communicated at the time of enquiry.
- The balance payment must be cleared before the trip start date, as specified in your trip’s payment schedule.
- Prices listed on the website are per person and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed with payment.
- All payments are to be made through the payment modes shared by our team (UPI, bank transfer, or payment link).
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be intimated in writing (WhatsApp or email) to be considered valid.
- Cancellation charges are calculated based on how close to the departure date the cancellation is made, and will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or voluntary withdrawal from a trip once it has commenced.
- In case Trekomania Adventures cancels a trip due to insufficient group size, natural calamities, government restrictions, or other reasons beyond our control, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future departure.
3. Trip Itinerary Changes
The published itinerary for each trip is indicative. Trekomania Adventures reserves the right to modify the itinerary, route, or schedule due to weather conditions, road closures, local administration restrictions, or safety concerns, without prior notice, in the best interest of the group’s safety.
4. Health and Fitness
- Participants are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions before booking a trek.
- Trekking involves physical exertion at high altitudes; participants should ensure a reasonable level of fitness appropriate to the difficulty level of the chosen trip.
- Trekomania Adventures reserves the right to deny participation to anyone found medically unfit to continue, without refund for the unused portion of the trip.
5. Liability
Trekomania Adventures acts as a facilitator, coordinating transport, accommodation, permits, and guides for the trips it organizes. While all reasonable safety precautions are taken, we are not liable for loss, injury, death, delay, or damage caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, theft, illness, or third-party service failures (transport operators, hotels, local authorities).
Participants are strongly advised to have their own travel/health insurance covering trekking and adventure activities.
6. Personal Belongings
Trekomania Adventures is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the trip. Participants are advised to carry valuables at their own risk.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to cooperate with trip leaders and guides, respect local communities and the environment, and follow all safety instructions given during the trip. Trekomania Adventures reserves the right to remove any participant from a trip, without refund, if their conduct endangers the safety or experience of the group.
8. Images and Media
Photos and videos taken during a trip may be used by Trekomania Adventures for promotional purposes on our website and social media, unless a participant explicitly opts out in writing before the trip.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from a booking with Trekomania Adventures will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
