Board the overnight train from Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad towards Chandigarh. Settle in for a comfortable overnight journey towards Himachal Pradesh.
Arrive at Chandigarh (pickup from railway station/airport/hotel) and drive roughly 4 hours to Shimla, with an optional stop at Pinjore Garden en route. Check in to the hotel, then head out for evening sightseeing at Mall Road, The Ridge, and Christ Church.

Drive about 1.5 hours to Kufri, one of the most popular stops near Shimla - visit Kufri Fun World, Mahasu Peak, and the Himalayan Nature Park for mountain views. Back in Shimla, cover Jakhoo Temple (own cost, subject to vehicle access), Scandal Point, and Lakkar Bazaar before returning to the hotel.
